B.Mus(Hons), HCPC Reg. Music Therapist, FAMI., RMN.
I am an experienced music therapist, a member of BAMT and registered supervisor.
I have assisted on GIM Training programmes.
Originally I trained as a psychiatric nurse, then became a specialist music teacher (mainstream and special education) prior to music therapy training.
I work from an eclectic and creative perspective using mandala and improvisation.
Although I am based about 3 miles from Chepstow, I can also offer sessions near Llandysul which is on the borders between Carmarthenshire and Ceredigion.

MA, FHEA, FAMI, BMus (Lond).
I qualified as an HCPC registered Music Therapist in 2000, and have been working as a clinician and educator in this field ever since. I have a private practice in S E Wales as well as other clinical work and university teaching.  I work with a variety of clients who are looking for a creative and holistic way of of approaching therapy.  Issues relating to life change, anxiety and bereavement  can benefit from my approach which is transpersonal as well as being informed by psychodynamic principles.  I also work with artists, musicians and dancers who want to explore their creative selves.
I operate a sliding fee scale according to circumstances.

I am a qualified music therapist, registered with HCPC, currently working in the field of acquired brain injury and neurological conditions. I followed a career as a professional orchestral musician for 20 years before developing an interest in music and health.
I am currently able to offer GIM sessions at a reduced rate while I complete my training.
